BJCF Announces 2010 Grants

Earlier this week, 2010 grants were made to 17 organizations (see list below) providing services within Boulder County.

Since the organization currently has no employees and all work (including annual tax preparations) is performed on a volunteer basis, all funds available for allocation (100%) are distributed to community organizations. Overhead fees are absent!

BJCF has recently launched Grassroots Jewish Boulder to solicit individual donations and make additional grants in support of Jewish causes that may be too small or otherwise not qualify for funding from other community foundations or organizations. These donations may support “out of the box” types of projects, such as:

  • Scholarships for Jewish communal professionals to attend conferences.
  • Purchase of study materials for Chavurot.
  • Underwriting of small community and fundraising events.

The Boulder Jewish Community Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and all donations are tax-deductible. If you’re interested in supporting additional activities of the BJCF and Jewish life in the greater Boulder area, contact BJCF.
